Bristol Leicester Oxford Colloquium


The fortieth BLOC meeting in a joint meeting with ARTIN will be held in Leicester on Friday and Saturday 18-19th May 2007 in the Department of Mathematics, University of Leicester.

Postgraduates are particularly encouraged to attend.


Programme

All lectures are in the Attenborough Seminar Block, next door to the Maths & Computer Science building.

Friday

1:00-3:00 Lunch: We meet at 1pm in front of the Maths & Computer Science building and have lunch in the senior common room (5th floor of the Charles Wilson building)

There should be time for informal discussions during the meeting.

Please let Karin Baur or Alison Parker know as soon as possible if you require accommodation. Please also let us know if you will be coming to lunch on Friday and/or Saturday and dinner on the Friday and also if you have any special dietary requirements or if you need a parking space.

The meeting is supported by an LMS Scheme 3 grant and by the Glasgow Mathematical Journal Trust. This is used to help offset travel costs for those from institutions participating in the scheme, with priority given to speakers and postgraduates.
